Lady Blue Bird

Lady Blue Bird just flew into SleepyHollow this afternoon. She's been planning her trip for a while, but just did make it in today. She is handmade out of quality muslin material which has been painted and sanded and painted once again to give it that ole timey look. Her eyes ae painted on and her nose is pinch stitched. Her wings are held on by a VINTAGE crystal broach. Lady Blue Birds dress is a beautiful brown with blue designs. She can sit or hang. She is 14 1/2 inches tall and has a 13 inch wingspan.

Primitive Grungy Americana Star

God Bless America !

This very grungy patriotic star is an impressive 24" high and over 18" wide.

The star is made out of red ticking on the front and muslin on the backside, both have been thru an extreme grunging process. The front pocket is a vintage postcard print with burnt edges to look time worn. The front pocket is held on with 4 rusty safety pins. The pocket is filled with Sweet Annie Herb, rusted stars, and red pip berries, an early lighting candle, and a piece of tatterd vintage silver tinsel. Sphagnum moss is placed in various spots, as well as a light sprinkling of German Glass Glitter. This Star sits very securely atop a vintage wooden bobbin. This piece is very sturdy and balanced well (will not tip over)
